The mission of the Ron Asheton Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation, is to continue the personalized style of charity work that Ronny spent so many years quietly doing in the Ann Arbor community where he had such strong ties. We will assure that his legacy, both as a great artist and a passionate animal lover, lives on for years to come by continuing to provide aid and support to the two things he was most passionate about, animals and music.
AND BECAUSE OF YOU the Ron Asheton Foundation has succeeded in supporting the needs of abused, abandoned and orphaned animals since 2011. Through your generosity we have granted nearly $20,000 to organizations like, the Humane Society of Huron Valley, Animal Welfare League NSW, Anjellicle Cats Rescue, and the Alcona Humane Society. And there is no cause too small. Be it distributing pet food to a community hit by a tornado, or medical expenses for a pet in need.
Special campaign drives and contests, will be held periodically and all information will be posted on the Ron Asheton Foundation website and Facebook. You can also support the campaign by purchasing our Merch or by making a donation.
There is so much more work to do. But we can’t do it without you! With your help and support, the Ron Asheton Foundation will succeed in its mission to make an impact on his causes.

- Work with artists of all ages to develop and promote musical endeavors
